CORN SOUFFLÉ OR QUICHE

Ingredients :

  • 50 gr. of butter,

  • 1 large onion,

  • 1 can of shelled corn (without water),

  • 1/2 liter of milk,

  • 2 tbsp. of flour,

  • Salt and pepper,

  • Grated cheese,

  • Nutmeg,

  • 2 eggs



Preparation :

  • Melt the butter and brown a large chopped onion. Add the corn. Cook for 2 minutes.

  • Add the milk and flour. Mix with a fork.

  • Remove from heat and season with salt and pepper.

  • Add the cheese and nutmeg. Add 2 egg yolks and the beaten egg whites.

  • Bake in a hot oven for 20 minutes.
