Ingredients:
1 small onion, quartered 1 large egg 1 pound (454g) ground beef 2 cloves garlic, crushed ¼ cup (32g) matzoh meal ¼ teaspoon salt ¼ teaspoon black pepper 12 ounces (355ml) chili sauce 1¼ cups (283g) grape jelly or jam ½ cup (118ml) water
Directions:
Place the onion and egg into a food processor and process until creamy. Place into a bowl. Add the meat, garlic, matzoh meal, salt, and pepper and mix well. Scoop up a heaping teaspoon of the meat mixture at a time and roll into balls. Wet your hands if the meat is sticking to them. Place onto a plate. Press Sauté and when the display reads "Hot," add the jar of chili sauce, jelly, and water, stir, and heat until boiling and the sauce is a uniform color. Press Cancel. Add the meatballs.
