SWEDISH MEATBALLS INSTAPOT

Ingredients:


  • 1 small onion, quartered

  • 1 large egg

  • 1 pound (454g) ground beef

  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed

  • ¼ cup (32g) matzoh meal

  • ¼ teaspoon salt

  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

  • 12 ounces (355ml) chili sauce

  • 1¼ cups (283g) grape jelly or jam

  • ½ cup (118ml) water


Directions:


  • Place the onion and egg into a food processor and process until creamy. Place into a bowl.

  • Add the meat, garlic, matzoh meal, salt, and pepper and mix well.

  • Scoop up a heaping teaspoon of the meat mixture at a time and roll into balls. Wet your hands if the meat is sticking to them.

  • Place onto a plate.

  • Press Sauté and when the display reads "Hot," add the jar of chili sauce, jelly, and water, stir, and heat until boiling and the sauce is a uniform color.

  •  Press Cancel.

  • Add the meatballs.
