MATZA BREAD (JAMIE GELLER)

INGREDIENTS


2 cups matzo meal

½ teaspoon of salt

½ teaspoon of sugar

1 cup of water

1 cup of vegetable oil

4 eggs





PREPARATION


Add the matzo meal, salt, and sugar to a mixing bowl. Mix.

Add water and vegetable oil to a small saucepan and bring to a boil.

Immediately pour into the matzo meal mixture and stir well.

One at a time, mix each egg into the matzo meal.

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

Let it rest for 15 minutes.

With greased hands (very important), form 6 balls. We like to roll each one into a ball and then flatten them slightly.

Place on a baking tray covered with baking paper.

Bake for 50 minutes.

Check occasionally to make sure it doesn't brown too quickly.
