CORNSTARCH ALFAJORES 2

Ingredients

  • 300 g of cornstarch

  • 200 gr. of flour

  • ½ teaspoon baking soda

  • 2 teaspoons baking powder

  • 150 grams of sugar

  • 200 gr. of butter

  • 1 tablespoon cognac

  • 3 yolks

  • vanilla essence

  • zest of 1 lemon.


Preparation :

  • Mix the cornstarch, flour, baking soda, and baking powder

  • beat the sugar with the butter

  • Add the cognac and the egg yolks and continue beating.

  • Mix the two previous mixtures and add vanilla essence and the zest of 1 lemon.

  • Stretch the dough on the table, adding cornstarch.

  • Mold into medallions.

  • Place in a medium oven until lightly browned.
