CHOCOLATE TRUFFLES

Ingredients

  • 1 (12-ounce) bag pareve dark chocolate chips

  • ¾ cup coconut milk

  • 1 tablespoon of flavored extract of your choice (optional)

  • Cocoa powder

  • cinnamon (optional)


Preparation


1 Pour the chocolate chips into a large glass container.


2. Heat the coconut milk in a saucepan until it boils. Pour immediately over the chocolate and stir. If the chocolate isn't melted enough, place over a pot of boiling water while continuing to stir until everything is combined and melted. Add the extract and stir.


3 Now you have made ganache that can be used on a cake or, in this case, put in the refrigerator to chill for a few hours or overnight.


4 Using a melon baller, scoop out balls of chocolate ganache, dust with cocoa powder and/or cinnamon, and place on waxed paper.


5 Keep cool, the best place to store is a wine cooler.
