Broccoli and Cheddar QUICHE

Ingredients

  • 1 9-inch frozen pie crust

  • 5 large eggs

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise

  • 1 1/2 teaspoons garlic salt

  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon Dijon mustard

  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

  • 1 cup chopped steamed broccoli florets

  • 3 chopped green onions

  • 1 1/2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese, divided



Preparation

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Place the frozen pie crust on a baking sheet. Set aside.

  • In a medium bowl, whisk together eggs, cream, mayonnaise, garlic salt, onion powder, Dijon mustard, and black pepper until fully combined.

  • Add the broccoli florets, spring onion, and 1 cup of grated cheese. Pour into the pie crust.

  • Sprinkle the top with the remaining 1/2 cup of shredded cheddar cheese.

  • Bake for 50-60 minutes or until the center is firm when gently shaken. Cover the edges of the crust with foil, if necessary, to prevent overbrowning.
