Ingredients :
Preparation : Soak the plums in boiling water until tender, chop them, and reserve the water. Beat the sugar with the butter. Add the eggs one by one, beating each time. Add the vanilla, the plums and alternate the plum water with the self-rising flour. Pour into a greased and floured 18x30 cm (Pyrex) pan and bake in a preheated, moderate oven for 35 to 40 minutes.
