Ingredients 4 rib-eye steaks cut into strips approximately 2 lbs, 900 g 2 large onions, thinly sliced 3-4 cloves of minced garlic 2/3 cup red wine 1/2 cup soy sauce 4 tablespoons Dijon mustard 4 teaspoons of brown sugar Olive oil Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation Mix the wine, garlic, soy sauce, mustard, and sugar in a large bowl, add the strips of meat, and let marinate for 30 minutes. Fry the onion over medium-high heat for 4-5 minutes until golden brown and set aside. Remove the strips of meat from the marinade with a slotted spoon and fry them in the onion pan over medium-high heat for about a minute on each side. The amount of time will depend on how well-done you like your meat. Add the marinade and simmer until the marinade thickens and adheres to the meat. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
