Ingredients: 1 kg of 0000 flour - 50 g of yeast - sugar for the yeast - 500 cc of water - 80 cc of sunflower oil - 4 onions - salt - poppy seeds. Preparation: Crumble the yeast and add a little warm water and a little sugar. Let it rise. Add salt to the flour and mix. Make a ring and place the yeast, sunflower oil, and water in the center. Mix, integrating the liquids. Then knead with short movements. Place the dough in a bowl, oil it on top, and let it rest covered with a tea towel until it rises (30-40 minutes). Separately: Cut the onion into julienne strips, add a handful of coarse salt, mix, and let it sit for a while. Then discard the juice it releases and mix the onion with the poppy seeds. Place the dough on the table, flatten it with your hands, and cut into rolls with a floured cutter, or form into balls and flatten them with your hand. Place them on a baking sheet coated with cooking spray, lightly brush with oil or water, and top with the onion. Let it rise again. Bake in the oven at 180-200 degrees until golden brown.
