DELICIOUS POTATO LATKES!

Ingredients

  • 6 potatoes

  • 1 white onion

  • 3 heaped tablespoons of flour

  • 2 eggs

  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

  • Salt and pepper

  • Oil for frying.



Preparation

  • Grate the potatoes and onion, place a clean cloth in a bowl, and pour the grated potatoes and onion over it. Drain until all the liquid is gone.

  • Once ready, in another bowl beat the eggs together with the flour, baking powder, salt and pepper. When everything is beaten, add the potatoes and onion, mix and the dough will be ready to prepare some exquisite Potato and Onion Latkes that we will fry in very hot oil for approximately 2 minutes on each side.

  • Place on kitchen paper to absorb excess oil.

  • Options to accompany this delicious preparation, applesauce, cream cheese or sugar on top.
