Ingredients : 1 yeast 50 gr., 3 1/2 tablespoons of sugar, 2 1/2 tablespoons of salt, 1 cup of oil, 2 eggs, 1/2 liter of warm water, 1 kg of 0000 flour Procedure: Crush the yeast with the sugar and salt with a fork until liquid... Add the eggs and the oil with the water. Mix with a spatula. Sift the flour, leaving a little (2 fingers of the package) aside. Put in a nylon bag with a knot in the refrigerator. Pinch so that it goes down and let it rise again. Sift the rest of the flour on the counter. Dump the dough and knead very gently with the rest of the flour. Divide into 4 and each 1/4 into 3. Braid and rest supported and covered with parchment paper on a baking sheet for 15 or 20 minutes. Preheat the oven to low with a baking sheet with water on the floor. Brush with beaten egg or oil and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Remove when golden brown. |
