Preparation Put in a bowl 500 grams of self-rising flour, 1 teaspoon of salt, 1 sachet of sugar, 2 teaspoons of anise seeds Mix well and make a well. Place 115g of melted butter or margarine, 100ml of oil, and 150ml of water in the center. Mix all the ingredients until a soft, but not sticky, dough forms. Then you make rolls, and cut strips about 5 fingers wide and make the donuts, paint them with egg, put sesame on them and place them on a clean plate with parchment paper in a preheated oven at 325 until they are lightly golden, approximately 30 minutes.
