BAKED MARINATED BRISKET 1

Ingredients:

  • 1 small brisket or roast

  •  2 cups vegetable or corn oil

  • oregano

  • Salt

  • Pepper

  • minced or powdered garlic

  • paprika

  • ground chili

  • (Optional: onion powder, turmeric, various spices)

  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar

  • 1 glass of water


Directions:

  • Preheat the oven to medium/low heat (350/175)

  •  Prepare a chimichurri with all the spices, 1 cup of oil and the vinegar. Marinate the meat in a baking dish. Reserve some chimichurri.

  • Add the other cup of oil and water to the rest of the chimichurri and put it in the dish.

  • Cover with aluminum foil. Bake at 350/175 for an hour and a half or two, depending on the thickness of the meat. Then uncover it and BROIL for 5 minutes.

  • Cut into thin slices and serve with the juice.
