Prepare a caramel in a pan or ovenproof mold by melting the sugar in a little water, adding the margarine and mixing well.
Peel the apples, remove the core and cut into quarters.
Sprinkle them with lemon juice
Place the apples in the pot or pan with caramel in a spiral, overlapping each other, so that they cover the bottom of the pan well.
Cut the puff pastry into a circle the size of the mold or pan and place it on top of the apples until they are completely covered.
Prick the dough
Bake at 350° for approximately 40 minutes
Remove from the oven and wait 10 minutes to unmold (make sure it is not freshly baked but the caramel has not hardened)
