SWISS POTATO CASSEROLE

Ingredients :

  • 1 kg of potatoes boiled with skin for 10 min., cooled and peeled.

  • 50 gr. of grated Gruyère cheese,

  • 75 gr. of butter,

  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped,

  • Salt and pepper



Preparation :

  • Grate the potatoes on a coarse grater. Mix with the cheese.

  • Melt the butter and brown the onion. Add to the mixture. Season with salt and pepper.

  • Wrap in aluminum foil and freeze.

  • To defrost, melt butter and pour the cake into it.

  • Slow heat, 15 min. on each side.
