Ingredients :
- 1 cup of sugar (250 gr.),
- 1 cup of plain flour (250 gr.),
- 1 kg. of yellow apples,
- ½ sachet of yeast,
- 2 eggs (you can try adding only one or none and it will come out even better),
- peach or apricot jam.
Preparation :
Peel and chop the apples, setting one aside. Place them in a blender with the flour and sugar. Add the eggs and yeast and blend until smooth.
Grease a 26 cm diameter mold with oil or butter and cover it with the resulting dough and cover it with apple slices that we have made with the apple that we reserved.
Sprinkle sugar on top and place in the oven at about 200ºC for about 30 or 40 minutes, depending on the oven. When you check that it is cooked (with a crochet needle), turn off the oven and turn on the grill to caramelize the apple slices.
Let it cool and then pour apricot jam on top.
