ONION BITES

Ingredients :

  • 600 gr of large onions,

  • 400 gr of milk bread crumbs,

  • 40 gr of butter,

  • salt



Preparation :

  • Peel the onions and cut them into thin slices.

  • Lightly salt them and sauté them over low heat in a saucepan with the butter for 40 to 45 minutes, until they have lost all their water.

  • Knead the bread crumb quickly, adding a little warm water.

  • Form a 1cm base on a greased baking sheet. Distribute the onions over the dough and bake in a preheated oven at moderate temperature (180°C) for 30 minutes.

  • Cool and unmold.

  • Cut into square or rectangular portions
