FRENCH TOAST 2

The original recipe makes 12 servings

Ingredients :

  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour

  • 1 cup of milk

  • 1 pinch of salt

  • 3 eggs

  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla essence

  • 1 tablespoon of white sugar

  • 12 thick slices of bread


Preparation :

  • Measure the flour into a large mixing bowl.

  • Slowly whisk in the milk.

  • Beat together salt, eggs, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and sugar until smooth.

  • Heat a lightly greased griddle or skillet over medium heat.

  • Soak the bread slices in the mixture until saturated.

  • Cook the bread on each side until golden brown.

  • Serve hot.
