Chicken wings in sauce INSTAPOT

Ingredients : non-stick vegetable oil

For the sauce

  • 1/2 cup teriyaki sauce

  • 2 tablespoons canola oil OR

  • 2/1 cup barbecue sauce

  • 2 tablespoons canola oil OR

  • 1/2 cup hot sauce

  • 2 tablespoons canola oil OR

  • 1 cup chicken wing sauce

For the wings

  • 4 pounds chicken wings, trimmed of fat, separated and tips discarded.

  • 1 cup of water

Preparation:

  • Line a large baking sheet with aluminum foil.

  • Spray with nonstick vegetable oil. Set aside.

  • For the sauce

  • Place the teriyaki, barbecue, or hot sauce in a small bowl. Stir in the canola oil. Set aside.

  • For the wings

  • Place a rack in the OAP, then add 1/2 cup of ADDED WATER.

  • Place the wings on the rack.

  • Lock the lid and close the pressure valve.

  • Cook in manual high pressure mode for 10 minutes.

  • Naturally release pressure for 10 minutes, then release pressure manually

  • Remove the wings from the OAP and place them on the prepared baking sheet. Pour the sauce over the wings.

  • For super delicious caramelized and crispy wings, grill the wings for 7 minutes on each side over medium heat.

  • To serve Serve with Cool Ranch or additional BBQ, teriyaki or hot sauce.
