BRISKET WITH RED WINE SAUCE AND MUSHROOMS

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 kg of brisket

  • oil,

  • 500 gr of fresh mushrooms,

  •  2 chopped onions,

  • 350 cm3 of red wine,

  • Salt,

  • Pepper



 Procedure:

  • Sauté the meat in oil, turning it.

  • When well sealed, add the wine and 1 glass of water.

  •  Cook in the saucepan over low heat until it is very tender.

  • Remove some of the cooking liquid and reserve.

  • Slice the meat

  • Sauté the onions in oil and the sliced mushrooms,

  • Add the reduction of the meat and if necessary more water.

  • Check the salt and pepper,

  • Cook over low heat.

  • Pour over the meat and serve.
