BAKED CHINESE CHICKEN

Serves 8-12.

Ingredients

  • 2 chickens (1 – 1.5 kg each)

  • 2 teaspoons of paprika

  • 2 teaspoons of granulated garlic

  • 1 teaspoon of mustard powder

  • 4 cloves of garlic, crushed

  • 1 cup of soy sauce

  • 1 cup of honey

  • 1 teaspoon of ginger



Preparation

  • Preheat oven to 200 degrees C (400 F).

  • Place the chicken on a baking sheet and sprinkle with the spices.

  • Roast for 1/2 hour.

  • Combine the remaining ingredients and pour over the chicken.

  • Reduce temperature to 180 degrees C (350 F) and cook for 1 more hour.

  • Serve with rice.
